Before the deadline Williams will most likely get traded, but which teams are currently interesting in moving for the SG?
Lakers’ Shooting-Guard Lou Williams has already drawn interest from teams like the Washington Wizards, who would like to add talent to their bench, and the Utah Jazz, who would have been haunted by injuries and would like to find some stability between Burks and Exum, who are constantly missing games.
With only 2 days left until the Trade Deadline, more interested teams in Williams have appeared, as sources claim:
- “Add the Houston Rockets and New Orleans Pelicans as teams that have expressed interest in trading for Lakers guard Lou Williams.”
The Rockets currently have multiple assets to move on a trade (Corey Brewer, KJ McDaniels), but the Lakers will most likely be looking to get some young talent or draft picks in exchange for the candidate to the 6th Man of the Year Award.
The Pelicans are interested in trading Terrence Jones (After trading for Cousins), but they would have to send a more tempting package in exchange for Williams.
The 30-year-old SG is averaging 18.6 PPG, 2.3 RPG and 3.2 APG in 24.2 MPG during 58 games played this season (Only 1 as a Starter).
Where will Lou Williams land?
