Chris Andersen will likely retire after today’s trade.
“Birdman” was involved in a trade earlier today that took him to Charlotte alongside cash considerations, for a top-55 protected for 2017 second-round pick.
The injured Bigman will be waived by the Hornets following trade, and will likely opt to retire.
Throughout his career, Andersen averaged 5.4 PPG, 5 RPG and 1.4 BLKPG in 17.7 MPG, playing in Denver, New Orleans, Oklahoma City (New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets), Miami, Memphis and finally Cleveland.
Birdman played 73 Playoff Games and 695 Regular Season Games.
