Jeff Teague arrived to Indiana early this season and he is pleasing Larry Bird, team president.
“I hear he always wanted to play here. We gave up a hell of a player to get him. He’s two years younger than George and he’s a real point guard and he gets to the line. I think he’s going to continue to get better. I couldn’t be happier.”
The former Hawks PG is averaging 15.6 PPG, 8 APG and 4.1 RPG in 32 Minutes. Teague was involved in the trade that took George Hill to Utah and the rookie Taurean Prince to Atlanta.
