The San Antonio Spurs are looking to make changes in their roster as soon as possible.

With Gasol out (4-6 weeks), Popovich said Spurs will look to add a player. But who could fit in the unselfish and organized basketball the Spurs play in the middle of the season for just a few weeks?

The answer is simple: D-League.

The Spurs could just call a player from their affiliate, the Austin Spurs, and then they would assign him back to Austin.

But what could be the Spurs options in Austin?

#1 – Cory Jefferson – The PF is averaging 16.7 PPG and 8.2 RPG for Austin, as he is being their scoring and rebounding leader. Jefferson already played for the Nets and the Suns and the 26 Years Old player was drafted in 2014 for the Spurs in the last pick, getting traded for the Ne

#2 – Cheick Diallo – The PF is averaging 12 PPG 6 RPG and 2.1 BPG, being Austin’s leader in Blocks! The rookie was drafted for the Clippers in the 33rd pick and he’s only 20 Years Old, after playing only 1 year in Kansas.

The SAS could also opt to sign a free agent.

#3 – Joel Anthony – The PF last played for the Pistons and is a 2X NBA Champion with the Heat. He appears to be the chosen one for the Spurs to sign to a 10-day contract!
